Purple Bruises

Scarred and exhibited by life as an art; a gallery nobody visits,
Scared that being who they want me to; stand in the way of who I am.
For long marked as an emblem for anguish,
For long smoking purple in need to run away from my purple bruises,
But today I’m anew,
Today serves as my rebirth.

Faith is a highway to heaven,
Faith has become my haven.
In life, we live so long in lost moments that we lose motion and stay stuck in the past when we could easily get a taste of the future we deserve.

I have been down and today I choose to be up,
I’ve been in tears and today I choose to languish in a fountain of joy.

It’s never too late to find your way,
So today I live by my way,
Born and again and one with the universe.
