There were times when I wanted to change the world, at least my world, Africa.
The pureness of my purpose coined so many decisions and thought pattern I drank from.
There were so many things going on that were wrong, my heart would bleed anytime I saw something that wasn’t right.
Along the line, our beliefs were being choked. Wrong felt like the right and if it didn’t feel wrong, we could pass on it.
Slowly our humanity is dying, she begs with a faint breath seeking strength again to wriggle out of the Claws of the beast that has held her captive.
Her souls still beat human but she doesn’t recognize who she is anymore, because her memory only collects what she chooses.
Today she shouts with vigour and strength, even when each shout is a torn on her flesh by the beast she once embraced.
Let us come together in unity, purpose, renewed strength, zeal and God’s love. Flooding out that which tries to eat away our humanity and our growth, trusting God to make us right as we grow.
Key Point for me: Let us come together in unity, purpose, renewed strength, zeal and God’s love.
Interesting. You are not alone in your world of ” desire to change the World.” Some dreamers like you, asked God, to ” REMAKE THE WORLD.”
Our world, in this comtemporary times is sickening, we are all bound by the culture, by the trend. If you think differently, you will be tagged insane. Monotony is the order of the day, no one dares to be different. The last time i check variety is the spice of life. That beast is the conforminty of others. Why are we always seeking approval, afraid to be devoured by what others thinks of us? Too scared to stir the waters, too scared to see how we will be judged by others, too scared to be different. We forget one simple fact, being the same doesn’t make us human, we are only human, if we are different.
Great work Obi.
